24 Workshop Hours to Become Dare to Lead Certified

We believe a leader is anyone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes, and who has the courage to develop that potential.  

Dare to Lead™/Show  Up: Lead for Humans is your invitation to become a braver leader with the empirically based, courage-building program based on the research of Brené Brown.  This training offers leaders skills for having hard conversations, holding themselves and others accountable, leading with empathy and connection, taking smart risks that lead to innovation, building trust, resetting quickly after disappointments and setbacks, and giving and receiving feedback – even when it's tough. Especially when it's tough.

DARE TO LEAD™ TRAINING OBJECTIVES

With the help of Moe Carrick, a Dare to Lead™ Certified Facilitator, you will be lead through exercises to:

• Learn how to create a safe and meaningful culture
• Create teams that take risks based on courage and trust
• Learn the key components of brave leadership
• ​Be equipped to operationalize your core values
• Learn to give more meaningful feedback to your team

Dare to Lead™ training is an investment in you and your leadership. After completing this training, you’ll be equipped to bring back these courage-building tools to your company, organization and team. Courageous leaders create brave, trusting, engaged cultures. Upon completion of the course, you will be Dare to Lead™ Trained.

Program Requirements

Participants who enroll in the Dare to Lead Certification MUST: 

1. Pay the program enrollment fee of $395;
2. Register and attend the 2021 ACAM-CEO Conference August 9-11, 2021;
3. Attend ALL scheduled events under Program Hours below;​
4. Complete 8 additional hours of self study.

Program Hours:

• April 9, 2021 | 11am to 3pm EST via Zoom
• April 14, 2021 | 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, 5 pm or 7 pm EST via Zoom*

• May 14, 2021 | 11am to 3pm EST viz Zoom
• ​May 19, 2021 | 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, 5 pm or 7 pm EST via Zoom*

• June 25, 2021 | 11am to 3pm EST via Zoom
• August 9, 2021 | 12:15pm to 2:00pm MST (Keynote at the MindShare Retreat - can attend in person or via Zoom) 
• August 11, 2021 | 1pm to 5pm MST (MindShare Retreat Post-Conference Session - can attend in-person or via Zoom)

* You will be assigned to one of the 90-minutes session on both April 14th & May 19th.
